St Johns Wood Scouts Supporting the community and the community supporting them
St Johns Wood Scout Group would like to thank all the Parents and Volunteer leaders who selflessly help the group with everything they do. Scouts is run by Volunteers but needs the help of the business community to help us deliver services to the community. The Scout group reciprocates this support by working with community organisations. Donations can be in the form of donations of Money, Materials or time .

Looking to deepen our relationships with Local Businesse's and other community groups such local schools, historical society, Communify, SJW environment, community groups.We belong to The Gap ward (list of clubs), Cooper state electorate and Ryan Commonwealth electorate.
Ashgrove State School
Ashgrove State School use our grounds for Environmental Studies. Our proximity to the Old Quary and Local Creek makes it a great Environmental Education Area
Save Our Waterways Now
The Save our Waterways Now group (SOWN) is our local Enoggera Creek habitat group - Scouts contributes with clearing, planting and maintenance campaigns Enogerrra Creek runs by our den. It is a friend most the time and our Foe during times of flood
Ashgrove Park Run
Park Run Ashgrove parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the world. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
Park Run Ashgrove use our grounds for their events. We are located on the Enogerra Creek Bikeway.
The Creche and Kindergarten Association Limited (C&K) is a not for profit organisation and has offered the highest standard of early childhood education and care since its inception in 1907.
Located at the top of the west ashgrove Hill at 530 Waterworks Road. C &K educates preschool kids in the area. Many of the students could become Joey scouts, or have older siblings elibible to joing other scout group units..
C & K support St Johns Wood Scout group but having an advertisment in their newsletter.

The Mankind Project
The ManKind Project Australia is a volunteer organisation with charity status and operates from 5 centres in Australia in close cooperation with the groups in New Zealand. The global network spans South Africa, the United States, Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland – a brotherhood of over 60,000 Men.

Meals On Wheels
Meals on Wheels is an iconic Australian Not for Profit organisation that has been bringing local communities together for more than 60 years. The 15,000 volunteers who make Meals on Wheels possible, deliver 2 million meals a year across Queensland, to more than 10,000 people with a wide variety of support needs, not just meals for seniors. People may be; in their senior years, recovering after hospitalisation, a major illness or surgery, a person with a disability, a carer, or needing assistance due to a special circumstance. Meals on Wheels offer much more than just a meal by providing a daily visit to monitor the health and well being of the clients who may not see anyone else during the day.
